In developing the concept for the Silo Swing, I aimed to honor the established brand style of Silo Park while infusing it with a unique personality. Drawing inspiration from the park's industrial heritage and vibrant community spirit, I envisioned the Silo Swing as a dynamic focal point that seamlessly integrated with its surroundings. By incorporating elements of the park's branding while adding distinctive touches, such as innovative materials or playful design features, the Silo Swing would have offered visitors a fresh and engaging experience reflective of Auckland's dynamic urban landscape. Though the project remained unrealized, the journey of exploring this balance between homage and innovation was both rewarding and inspiring.
